Is a New DS Console in the Works?

Rumors are swirling that graphics company nVidia is working with Nintendo to add their new Tegra System-on-Chip processor in the their next DS console, which will be a follow-up to the DSi. If the rumors are true, we could see the new handheld as soon as in late 2010. It may even premiere at next year's Tokyo Game Show. Any new DS console is expected to be backwards compatible with DS games and applications.

When asked to comment on the rumors, Nintendo only said "We don't comment on rumor or speculation."
