No Wii or DS Shortages Expected this Holiday Season

Although finding a Wii or a DS has been hard for shoppers during holiday seasons past, no shortages are expected this year. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime made it clear today that plenty of their products will be on shelves. "For our standpoint, we're prepared," he said in an interview with CNN. "We have a tremendous amount of product in inventory. We've been flowing product into retail. We do not expect to have shortages on our products. Now, if we do experience them, I'd love to have that problem, but we're not seeing that happening this year".

Nintendo expects to see a very profitable end to 2009.
